We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Lakehurt drive (yay for friends who work for IHG!). Would you recomment going by car or shuttle? I just found out about the shuttle service, and the fact that it takes you past the lines, but that you also have to wait outside. It's supposed to be sunny on Wednesday so I'm not too worried about the weather. I'd just love to get in as soon as possible. Also (I assume but want to know for sure), there are restrooms accessible while waiting, yes?

Thanks,

An excited mother-of-girlfriend to Sailor.

The shuttle will drop you off at the gate and you then must wait in the line through the gate, and walk to the drill hall. Driving your car, you do wait in line to get in the gate with your car. Once in the gate you are pointed to the parking. You will have to wait in line to get into the drill hall, but the line starts inside the building. There are no bathrooms until you are in the drill hall.

I noticed that you mentioned there are no restrooms until we get into the drill hall.   How long do people actually stay in line?   For those that have to use the restroom a lot what do those people do?

Curious..what times do both of these lines start?..shuttle passengers and cars..do families really line up starting as early as 5am?..with no bathroom..i guess i wont be drinking coffee..lol!

I don't know about 5am, but I suppose those that pick up their tickets on Friday may go right over to the RTC. I do know there are people lin line to drive in by 6am.
