Hello,

Unfortunately no one from my SR's family will be attending his PIR. Wondering if anyone that is going to Chicago might have an opportunity to meet him and give him a big congratulation and Mom loves you hug. I'm not sure how it would work out finding him, but I could find out. I am so broken-hearted about this, six hours after PIR he leaves for A school. I just can't afford about $700.00 for six hours. You can bet I'll be visiting him at A school when the Navy allows visitors. Thank you for you help.

I found a Facebook group for his division.  Great thing. And I have gotten a huge response for so many people. Thanks for your kind word and thoughts. I know he'll be taken care of after PIR and having the military on our side now, we'll have lots of support. He's a great kid and will succeed at whatever he does. Certainly on the right tract.

Thanks again.

I really liked this post...my son whom is in the Air Force, said its an extended family in the military, he would agree with post!
My daughter, is in Navy Basic Training now, I look forward to seeing her graduate and willing to take photos or offer any friends of hers who don't have family there, to be apart of our family that day!!!!!
