Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

He called me sat was excited to get his call but he said he was flagged and not allowed to anything what does this mean he said he won't know till Friday I am so nervous gir himaany advice on how to handle this

You just have to sit tight and wait for him to let you know what happened.  May be something physical, or something in his contract or clearance which needs to be cleared up.  

Its very hard to do that

I know it is.  My son was separated yesterday and I don't really know what to do.

I am so concerned. I am just waiting for another call.  It is really hard but we have

no choice.

I know he is suppose Friday if I don't hear from him they are keeping him and if he calling guess that means he coming home he called me to tell me his was flagged about hiss knee

Hang in there.  Right now that is all that we can do.  It isn't easy.  I have been crying off and on

since we heard last night that he is in Ship 5. I really want to talk to him. First we have to wait for the

phone call and the box and letter, then we wait day to day with our phones stuck to us so that we don't miss that call, then this.  Now we have to wait to find out whether they are coming home or what.  Then, I guess, we will have to wait for them to be processed out.  I don't know if I have that much "waiting" in me and

still sound strong when I do get to talk to him.
