All Hands Magazine's mini-documentary series "Making a Sailor": These six videos follow four recruits through Boot Camp in the spring of 2018 who were assigned to DIV 229, an integrated division, which had PIR on 05/25/2018.
Hi MammaBear it's so nice to touch bases with you. Our son left on July 29th and we received his "box" and short letter last week but phone call yet. I was a little concerned as another recruit that left after he did has already called home. I hope that's normal. This is our only child and letting go was very difficult even though we knew he was joining a year ago (DEP).
but thank God for giving us strength.
We live in Harlingen, TX and I look forward to more conversations with you. Will keep you and your son in our prayers and I can't wait to hear more about your FS.
