Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Thank you for all the replies to my above discussion. I am glad that so many of you are going through the same thing. Not that I wish all the crying on any of us, but I don't feel so alone. No one I know has a son or daughter in the military or leaving for the military.  Not that the people around me don't understand why I'm upset, but some still make me feel as if I shouldn't be so upset since I will be seeing him again in the not too distant future.  My poor son has been all into this decision he made, but this morning when he got up and realized he would be headed off to the hotel they were having him stay in tonight and that tomorrow morning it was finally happening, he started throwing up.  He use to do that when his nerves got back as a younger kid, but it has been years since he got sick over nerves.  I felt so sorry for him, but when he left to head to the recruiters office 45 minutes ago, he was doing okay...until he saw me crying and then he said as he walked out the door, "Now you've got me crying.".  My husband took him to the recruiters office because I knew I'd be crying and I figured I'd do enough of that in front of him tomorrow at his swearing in.  They said we could to with him to the airport or meet him there and say goodbye before he went through security.  I will miss him very much as he is my 1st born and 1st to leave home, but I am extremely proud of him and know that this is going to be good for him.  Thank you again for all of your comments and I will definitely get on this site often to see how everyone is doing.  Please feel free to contact me if you need to talk too.
