The one thing I have to say is if he still has his wisdom teeth go and get them removed because they do it at BC! More I am reading the more the recruits have infections and in a lot of pain!!!
So please take note on this.
I haven't heard a lot about infection from having the wisdom teeth removed at BC. My son still has his wisdom teeth (he's a Sailor of 3 1/2 years), but he said that while at BC, those who had them out had 2 days SIQ and were taken very good care of.
Thank you for the info. My son has had two lowers removed already. That cost me a pretty penny so I think I will let the Navy take care of it.
You may want to join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in July, to connect with others who have loved ones leaving in July and who may even end up training with your son.
