My son is also in Ship 2 Division 944.
Is there a group for mom's of sailors in Ship 2 Division 944? My son is in that one. His PIR is September 14th.
Im actually not a navy mom...my fiance is in the navy. i just joined this group to get perspectives from bay area. But he has been in since Dec 2011 and if you need any questions asked or anything i can do my best to answer and share what i know.
My son is also Ship 2, Div 944!!
My son turned 20 in May, he was real excited to go. His rate is aircrew. How about your son? So far today seems a little better. The call the other night was tough on me... I'm just trying to stay busy and keep praying. I'm not a very religious person but I think this entire experience is going to make me one. :) How are you doing?
I'm from Pennsylvania, how about you?
Thanks! My daughter turned 18 in March last year and joined in May. She joined with her BFF and they promised them they'd be going through BC and A School together, but her BFF went to BC last September and started A school in December. My daughter had to wait 15 months between enlisting and BC... I was not happy she did it, she's SO smart and could have her choice of colleges or careers. But she still wants to do this and hasn't changed her mind yet. I live in San Francisco with my twin 19-year-olds (boy/girl).
