I haven't received the form letter yet. But I'm thinking, if they filled them out Sunday, mailed out Monday, so hoping we'll get them tomorrow; at the latest Saturday.. As far as PIR, 8 weeks of boot camp would end with graduation being the 14th. In my head, I've been planning that all along.:) Haven't booked anything yet, so hoping there will be something left...

My son turned 20 in May, he was real excited to go.  His rate is aircrew.   How about your son?  So far today seems a little better.  The call the other night was tough on me... I'm just trying to stay busy and keep praying.  I'm not a very religious person but I think this entire experience is going to make me one. :)  How are you doing?

Hi there. My step son Elliott leaves for bc on 7/17 in Great lakes

Thanks! My daughter turned 18 in March last year and joined in May. She joined with her BFF and they promised them they'd be going through BC and A School together, but her BFF went to BC last September and started A school in December. My daughter had to wait 15 months between enlisting and BC...  I was not happy she did it, she's SO smart and could have her choice of colleges or careers. But she still wants to do this and hasn't changed her mind yet. I live in San Francisco with my twin 19-year-olds (boy/girl).
