Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

My son left from KY on Wednesday the 29th. Called us about 7:15 pm their time and was already at RTC. Hopfully that meant a somewhat decent time to go to bed. I rememeber when I 1st went to BC and we were kept up almost all night.

My fiance left the 29th, I got the box on Friday. I live in Chicago though and live about 30 minutes from Great Lakes so it doesn't take long to get mail from there. I am still waiting on the form letter and PIR date. I hope I get it this week since I have 7 letters waiting to be sent!
Got my fiances ship/div tonight from his recruiter. Still waiting on he form letter for his grad date.
BUT his he is Ship 002 Div 950

My daughter left on the 29th from Albany , NY. She is in Ship 12, Div 347. I can't believe it has already been a week. Hope to meet some one else in this div.
MY daughter best friend left on the 28th from Albany also and is in SHIP: 09 DIV: 345.

My Son is also on Ship 11 Div 349 , A friend tol dme about this sit eand it has really helped me to understand and know more than I did before my son left. Thanks to everyone and as everyone else just can't wait to hear his voice. I have family that have misses long distance phoen calls and start blowing my phone and email up hoping it is him . Before he left , we didn't think we would be able to go to PIR , however I would rather die than not , havn't made any plans as of yet , but starting to look into what and when. Good luck to all the families and your loved ones.
