In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

was originally going to rent a vehicle for the weekend of December 16th 2016. My son graduated from the Great Lakes Naval command center boot camp. After we looked at the weather and the rules of entering base and the logistics of everthing we wanted to see and do, we decided to go with taxi service that most people use for graduations.For so many reasons it was the greatest decision we made at the last minute. I Came across this company by of course looking at the Navy website for families of what to do where to stay etc...I called the number and the owner returned my call within minutes and set me up with a driver within 20 minutes for the weekend . This driver was Super Dave and the name is an understatement.This is why this became the greatest decision we made . Dave stayed in direct contact with us as soon as we boarded the plane, he tracks your flight and was waiting outside the minute we landed.Our luggage was of course slow coming out and then one of the pieces were we thought lost.I texted him apologizing and he texted no problem it took about 35 minutes extra to retrieve luggage. Once we got outside he jumped out loaded luggage had a friendly calm attitude and made us feel very welcomed. He dropped us off at hotel and before getting out of van I asked about the meet and greet. We were so exhausted we were not gonna go , Dave said it's a must go, you will get a lot of info about graduation and meet your new navy family . He picked us up dropped us off at the meet and greet. This was a great welcome to the Navy family , great food and very patriotic. We were able to meet great people who were in our sons division, so many contacts then super Dave brought us back to hotel , the next morning he delivered us to graduation and waited while we had to get pictures and stuff from the Nex. Each time I apologized for being late he was very kind, no problem !! He took us to a place for lunch celebration with our son and was there to bring us back to hotel once we were done . That night he came back to bring our son back to the base before his liberty ended. This is where Dave became Super and went way beyond of what we were paying him for. My son about an hour after being dropped off called me from an officers phone to tell me he thought he left his wallet in the van . We called Dave and he pulled over and looked, he said he did not see it , I started to panic because his DL debit and other cards were in there. He had taken out wallet to get ID to enter base and thought he left in van . Dave called and said I looked again in Van but saw nothing then he offered to go back to base by the gate and see if he could see on the ground. He called said so much snow and vehicles lined up to drop off sailors, he was unable to get close . I was devasted he said once it clears out I can go back and get closer . By this time I was crying worrying about my son having access to his money for he was flying out the next morning for A school. I was about to start canceling all his financial cards when Dave called and said I went back and got out of Van in - degree weather and looked in snow and then found a ran over by at least hundred vehicles laying in snow my sons wallet !!! He brought back to us at hotel that night . No other taxi driver would have ever done that , this was remarkable, when the web site says we take care of our military families fairly and honestly this is true , but it went way beyond that !!! Dave saved me so much stress and my son a hardship until he would have been able to replace what he lost. I cry writing this review because it warms my heart that there is still great people in this country who really honored and care about our military and their families. I strongly encourage anyone using ground transportation while there to use this taxi driver and give back and support such a company that supports our military !!! Make sure to request Super Dave(847-445-1163) and pray he is available even though I heard many other great things about all the drivers,, so much more I could say but I will stop and say Thanks again Super Dave and God bless you and your family we will never forget your kindness and the effort that went way beyond your job !!!
