My first letter wasn't exactly a letter it was the papers for the graduation, but it did have the address and ship # and div on the paper as well. You should be getting it pretty soon. My SR did write  a small note on the paper saying that they didn't give them any time to write a letter yet.

Hi there - be sure to join the boot camp group - I left the link in the Welcome message on your page.  You'll find answers to most of your questions in that group.  The letter usually arrives anywhere from 9-14 days after arrival.  You can guestimate PIR by counting 9 fridays - so you might be looking at 6/14/19.  But again - it's just a guestimate!

Keep your phone handy and remember, no news is good news!

My daughter left the same day. I have not received a letter yet.

I am waiting for this letter ! for my first call was very disappointing. I wanted so very much to hear more from him, but if I could get the box and confirmation of a letter every chance he gets I will feel easier with this event.

I am glad to hear others who are sharing my feelings, are new to this like myself. And everyone's comforting comments to help ease my anxiety.

Be strong Moms. My SR left April 02, we received the box shortly after, form letter by week 2, a letter a few days after and a phone call last Saturday. It was a relief to hear from him and he assured me he’s doing well. Hoping you all hear something soon.

My son left on April 15th.  He called his dad last night about 10 pm (EST).  The call was quick.  He said he sent a letter to us.    I was so disappointed I didn't talk to him, but maybe it's better because I think I would have been too emotional.   His Dad said he choked up at one point, but said it was all going well.   I have so many feelings now - is he ok - was there a hidden message.   Just overload.   Did anyone else get a call?

I received a call yesterday morning from my daughter. She left on April 16, she said that she is doing good and enjoying it.

My son left on the 23rd, not even a week. But it seems like forever ago.

My daughter also left on April 16, and I received a one min phone call yesterday. It was very brief, but just enough to hear she was doing well and that she liked it! She said she had a chance to write and I should be getting a letter this week!
Nora, did she tell you her PIR date?
My daughter left on the 16th also, flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the 17th so she didn't get to bc until the 18th. She said they were in holding for about 4 days so she hadn't even done her run test or had immunizations yet. She said her new PIR date is the 21st now.
No she hasn’t mentioned her PIR date yet. But she did make it to bc on the 17th as scheduled.
I received my first letter today. We received the PIR forms on saturday
