coronado is beautiful!
Zac says it is and all the pics he's sent me appears it is. We're planning to go out there next summer so I cant wait to see :)
Hi all Cameron is still in Pensacola. He will be home for Christmas. He just classedup for AE on December 1st and will graduate some time in February due to the Christmas break. He is hoping for Italy/ Hawiai or West Coast Squadron orders. Will have to wait and see. He got his class up orders 5 minutes before the class started. Way to go Navy.
Casey arrived in Pensacola 12/3, has indoc this week and will class up for Naccs (part of air rescue swimmer program) when he returns from Christmas break(keeping fingers crossed for approval) on 1/3/11! THis is a 2 year program, that will keep him in Pensacola for the most part.

glad he'll be home for Christmas! We will just be skypeing Zac in since he was home for Thanksgiving. And yeah Zac got his orders handed to him couple hours before his A grad and the next day was holiday so he had to hang in MO for two extra days til he could get his leave approved and flights changed to come home first before going to CA. So welcome to the Navy life- Hurry up and wait..lol

update now he says he goes to washington State after C school...

I have a nephew in Washington and he LOVES it!!!

Charlie is an AM

Just remembered that this is up here. Chris is now in San Diego on North Island. He is in C-school for Mobile Electric Power Generators. So far all seems to be going great.....not that he's somewhat adjusted to not being in Small-town, USA. Don't have a graduation date yet, but it will be sometime the end of March/first of April. He should then be joining this aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson, which is currently on deployment.

hey ladies!! its been such a long time since i've been on this site so i thought i would come on and catch up. My hubby and i moved to san diego in november and he is on the uss new orleans. we absolutely love it here and charlies mom, you are right, coronado is absolutely beautiful! and pretty darn expensive to live on too. but we are living in kearny mesa area and its about 12 mins from 32nd st. with the driving here, i could probably make it in 10 lol. it looks like alot of your sons are coming or are now in san diego too! visits to them are a must! tell them to take to to seaport village, just went there last night and its the cutest little area ever! there is a 7 month deployment coming up for us in november, so not looking foward to that but i guess we knew it would come sooner or later. i hope everyone is doing well!!

Casey graduates from NACCS today, and moves over to RSS.  WIll be on hold for a little bit, but will stay in Pensacola for this part of the training.
