Wonderful news!

Buddy, this is wonderful news. So happy our 060 boys pulled through. Now we need to get Jean

in and all will be well.

God speed to all of our boys tonight.  May all of them perform at their best, may they work as a team, may they realize that their hard work has payoff, may all of them don new sailor hats!

But most of all watch after all of them and keep them from injury.

We pray this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Amen!!

What an outstanding prayer! We will be saying this prayer in our house tonight! Amen.

We will pray this prayer in our house as well!    Thanks Buddy.

Going to be a long wait for that call!!!

We had a great long talk with our son.  It was so good to talk to him.  He said he had a great time at BS.  He will not be leaving for A school till Feb 12 unless orders change.

Been a great day for 060! So glad to hear they all made it through. As tough as those RDC's can be (and should be!) that's how they make it through.

So glad Friday a=is almost hear. Mr SR said he won't know till Thursday (I think) what his orders are.

We got our "I am a Sailor " call .....it was so great talking to our son.  We talked for a while ...so happy for all of them.   Our Sailor said he won't know till Thursday . ... safe journey everyone  see you all on Friday!

We got THE call too. So proud of all our boys. We got good news and bad news. Good news is that he is officially a sailor, bad news is that we thought he was flying out Monday morning and he told us he is flying out Sat. at 2:00 am. His orders apparently changed.  We have 7 members of our family flying out and we were staying until Monday hoping for a long weekend with our son. BUMMER.  I am reminding myself to be happy for the time we do get with him and it looks like we will have a family vacation in Chicago minus the guest of honor!

OH NO Denise! You have a god attitude about it though.  He's actually flying at 2am? or leaving for the airport?

Our SR said he won't know till Thursday so of course we won't know till Friday after PIR!
