Son left 12/5/11.  Just received the form letter.  He's Ship 12 Div 058. PIR 2/3/12.  Got a very short note saying the Petty Officers were killing them.  That was alarming, but then at the end, his usual sarcasm of "I'm alive so stop freaking out."  That made me feel much better.  Anyone else??????

Tomorrow is trivia Tuesday (provided they still have it even during a holiday week).  Let's win so we can get a picture of our division!!

I'll be here trying !   Good luck to us !!

Calls coming in today from 12/058!!  Just talked to my son for about 10 minutes.  He said there are 88 in their division now.  60 something are males and the rest are females.  He has had his wisdom teeth pulled and has bronchitis but other than that he sounded great.  So happy to hear his voice!!  I hope you all get calls tonight!!!  The caller ID says pay phone.

Received a call tonight!  It was only about 10 minutes, but it was great.  He sounds good and seems to be doing well!   He loves the letters.  So great to hear his voice.  :)

I was reading on the 2/3 PIR site and they are discussing each division wearing a certain color scarf so we can identify each other.   Also one person mentioned wearing white scarves like our SRs   Is anyone interested on choosing a specific color for 12/058 and we can wear an inexpensive scarf of that color to PIR?

I love the scarf idea too! What cklor do you want to go with?

Hey I think 057 and 058 are brother divisions or something like that.  Someone mentioned wearing the same color as their partner team so there would be more of us in the same color.  I think Red and Gold are already taken.  How about white for ours? My son is in 057.

My son said division 058 & 057 are brother divisions.  Whatever that means. Lol.  I love the idea of wearing the same color. White is fine with me.  I asked my son in a letter if they have a certain color assigned to them, but I probably wont get the the answer for a while since they can only write on Sunday.

I'm game with whatever color everyone decides.  I guess we should just pick one and go with it.  What do you guys think??

I agree.  I have heard suggestions of White, Red, and Navy for the Navy!!  I'll probably be wearing black so Navy wouldn't look too good with black but it is a cute Idea.  If you hear from your son let us know asap so we can start shopping or making scarves.

Hey everyone.  If your brother division and your SR's division moms have already chosen a color will ya'll please post again so the rest of us can decide.  I can't seem to keep up.

Deanna...I sent you a message on FB. Does anyone else like green for the scarf color?
