Would anyone's SR happen to not have four people on their list? My SR had to give my seat to his grandmother but I am still going. I really want to see him graduate! Really bad. If anyone has an open seat please let me know!

Hello all!  I am a veteran mom whose son recently graduated from BUD/s.  As I was looking at your group I noticed that many of you are using your son's real names in your posts.  You may want to go back and delete those as  they can be used by an instructor to hassle your recruit.... and it is good to start practicing OPSEC for this journey.

Welcome to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!

Hello all....My son is currently in preBUD/S at GL and was part of Class 2 9 4, the next group to be heading out to SD.  He has had an injury and it is looking like he will not be heading out with his original group.  This is not uncommon at all.  Classes that form are rarely the same group that goes through boot camp together.  They will include guys that are "rolled back" and officers that come in and meet them out in SD.  They also lose guys along the way.  My son says there are quite a few that have "dropped" already in pre BUD/S.  There have also been other medical issues.  So it is looking like my son may be joining your sons/husbands/boyfriends as the next class forms :)  I know a lot of you are counting down the days to graduation!!  I hope these next days go fast for all of you as you wait for that all important call: I'm A Sailor!!  And enjoy your weekend next weekend with your guys!!

Take Care

AZKmom, I'm sure sorry to hear about your son's injury. Welcome to our group.  Thanks for all the help and advice.
