OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

thank you dragon, I am sending you a PM.

My son said they welcomed 804 on Friday :)

AZK is they going to be 294 or 295?

He's pretty certain that they'll be 2 9 5.

Thanks for the welcome AZKmom!

For those of you who aren't aware there are a couple of groups here on N4M that will be helpful to you ladies; preBUD/S moms and SEAL moms.  Both of them have great information, support, suggestions, and a wonderful group of ladies.  On the preBUD/S group, there are links for all the BUD/S classes.  There is a link to BUD/S Class 2 9 5.  This will be the Class your guys will be in as they begin at pre BUD/S.  They will be joined next week by 805.  These groups are private groups for the safety of our guys and are specifically for family members.  Hope to see some of you in these groups as you and your guys continue this crazy journey :)

I know some of you are girlfriends or wives so please feel free to join even the title says "moms"!

Also it will be easier and quicker to get approved  when requesting to join the Class 2 9 5 group if your page has already been changed to private.

804 moms, wives & girlfriends, be sure to join the prebuds group and class 295.   Thanks camo-mom, sjtina and AZKmom for getting 295 started.
