Hi all, I am not very artsy craftsy, and I was wondering if any of you are making a memory box or scrapbooking project for your SR's momentos. I have a bunch of pictures from Nick's going away party,…Continue

2.5 years now -- can you believe it?.

It's hard to believe that it's been a year since our Navy experience started. My son is a Seabee with the Reserves and loves it! He got married right after he came home from A school and is working full time. He loves his training weekends!

The Navy was and is the very best thing that could have ever happened to my son. The key for him was that he decided on his own to enlist. I am VERY proud of him and his accomplishments, as I'm sure all of you are!

I think back to the days and nights that I was glued to the computer and website. I'm very thankful that I had this "lifeline" as I call it. I love reading how everyone is doing and where their Sailors are now.

My daughter is still there awaiting to be sent home. We thought she would be home by next week but will not happen. She needs to come home so she can get her surgery done. Ugh !!

USS Milius is my son's ship.

Mine is on his first deployment as well! Perhaps they are together?

Hi Valtameri...I agree we were on here all the time now I am lucky if I check once a week.

All is well here, my son is on his first deployment...another new experience.

I thought I'd stop in and check on our little group -- no messages for 4.5 months! When our sailors were getting ready to go to RTC, I think we probably only went 4.5 minutes between comments! What's new?
