For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hello everyone. My son is also in this division. I was surprised that he was in this as well. Has anyone NOT received their form letter yet? I have gotten his box with is personal items but no form letter. Wondering where it might be. I missed a phone call when he need additional info for his clearence and I received my first letter from him yesterday. Does anyone know if we can send mail without receiving the form letter yet? I have an address for him but not sure if I should mail...

I don't know what you should do, but if it was me I would go ahead and send a letter or two and see if they come back. Maybe he sent it and it got lost by the PO? Did you get his info from the recruiter?

I've just sent him a letter so hopefully it will get to him. I spoke with his recruiter and he said that I could go ahead and mail it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed :D

Well, I got a 2nd letter from him :D But still no form letter. My main questions are how many guests for PIR and I thought I read something about a code to get a parking pass? Any chance you've received this info?
