Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi, my son Kevin is also in this group, We received three letters that were in one envelope and he said that he would probably be able to call home by the end of July.

My son is on ship2 and div 943 and I just received a phone call from him ,what an unexpected surprise that was. He said he had sent a couple of letters which I havent received. He also told me that he was hoping to get more mail from his friends and family this coming from the guy that told us that he didnt need any mail before he left. Hey mom what can I say....send mail. His feet are finally healing , he did say that they all got sick in processing, he is feeling better as most of them are but a few have now got the flu but are being treated. He sounded good still in a bit of a culture shock , he said he hasnt sat so much on the floor since elementary school. Hope you all hear from your future sailors.
