Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I heard they were sticks. Carry flags

Oh neat!! Kind of shocks me knowing how my sailor is but oh well! Do you know if they volunteer for the positions or assigned them?

Hi   I just got the letter that my Daughter is in this Division  !  Im so excited to get a little information on what she is doing? Her PIR date is Dec 6    Does anyone else have the same date?  

I'm pretty sure my SR's is also Dec 6! Theres a group that you can join for it if you haven't already! I haven't gotten the letter yet though :/ 

Hi Again everyone !!!  So I guess they are carrying flags or sticks   I am not real sure what the sticks are but ok it will be fun to watch.  How is everyone doing with the separation?  I miss her like crazy I think if I could just hear her voice it would be better.  just wanna make sure she is doing ok.  how about everyone else?

Good Morning Hay'smom..I miss my daughter like crazy too..I feel the same way..I just need to hear her voice so I know she is ok..I heard that because they are carrying flags they might go to the  PIR in November to carry the flags for them,  sometimes pictures are put up on the facebook page.  Do you have that page?

 

I can't wait for a phone call. So many people have already gotten one :/ but no news is good news I guess! Let me know when you all get phone calls! I hope all is well for you guys and if keep everyone in my prayers!

I just got my phone call!!!! Just being able to hear her voice made me feel so much better.  Has anyone else received theirs yet?  I hope so!

I got my call too! Did you cry afterwards too? Haha it was uncontrollable after we hung up!

Omg yes!!! I held it in till after I hung up and then I lost it!!! I'm so glad to hear you received a call also!! :)
