I got a call tonight. My day was made. He sounded like he was doing good. all except having a cold. He is not use to cold weather at all. We are half way there. I know he is looking forward to boot camp ending and seeing his family. He did say its hard not being able to communicate with his family. So proud of him!!!

It sounded like the whole room was coughing.  Adam said he had a cough too and most of them did.  But it only really bothers him when he talks which is close to never LOL

Yes! Got a call just about an hour ago. My daughter says it's hard, but they have the best Chief and RDC on base. They are tough on them but they care about them. I am so proud of her and it was so great to hear her voice. I did cry though when I got off the phone. I miss her so much! :)

Sherry, she asked what your son's name is. She was asking about who's mom's I'm talking with here. LOL! So if any of you want to post your kid's names, I will tell her in the next letter.

I sent you a friends request so I can send you his last name, (which is probably how she will know him).  We aren't allowed to post them on here publicly.  His first name is Adam.

Not a problem. :) thanks for friend request! Now I just have to figure out how to accept it. LOL!

So happy to get a call.  I m glad you got yours too :) My son sounded good but he also sounded like he was counting down the days until this will be over. He sounds like he has a real good group. And he said his RDC are cool. He has a watch tonight  2-4 He is not use to cold weather and sounded like he really misses home. We are half way there. Hope to meet you at PIR.

My daughter also said that their Chief and RDC are great and that the rest of the divisions envy them. She said they push them to perform, but also truly care about them. Good to know! Glad your son sounded good.

Great FB for 900 Divisions. They have a link to a Challenge Coin that is a great PIR gift. Bought one this morning. Check it out! Hope you all are hanging in there. Halfway there now.
