Got a letter today from my SR. She sounded very discouraged. She said that the division is struggling. And hell week is this week! Maybe that's why they are calling on Sunday - to let us know if they made it through and are still graduating on time. Hmmm. We'll see. Anyway, just thought I'd give you guys a heads up. Prayers for our kids!!

teachermom  and Melahead I also got a letter today as well. Said it's been a rough week. Said the same things as you both. Lifting our kids up in prayer. Praying their division comes together and starts working as one and passes hell week. Looking forward to our call on the 5th.

Just got off the phone with my daughter. She sounded very upbeat considering her last letter. She said she passed her inspections and they did well on the Marlinspike and the pictures were super fun. The division is finally pulling together and doing better. They perform at PIR the next two Fridays. And she said the RDCs they have are very nice. She also said they are now the group showing the newbies the ropes of boot camp. She's kinda nervous about it. But she sounds happy. She can "see the light at the end of the tunnel" now! Hahaha! It was so good to hear from her!!

I heard from my SR son yesterday. He had  pneumonia with over 103 fever last week.  He's not allowed to do anything physical for over a week because of the medicine hes on. He said he may have to go back a week to catch up on the physical testing he was to do. Hopefully he can catch up by the time the 8 weeks are over.   Please keep him in your prayers. His sister is suppose to come for graduation on the 24th, if he gets sent back a week she may not get her leave approved for the 31st graduation. She is a SGT in the Marines west cost.  Praying Gods will in all this. I just want him better without anymore complications.  When he called home the time before, he was real sick. Not surprised he got pneumonia. We got to talk for a while told me a lot about whats going to happen in A school when boot camp is over. Everyone was working better in his division. He said he should be playing in PIR on the 10th and 17th unless something changes. Can't wait to see him.

I got to see my SR during the PIR. He looked so sharp and handsome in his dress blues! Can't wait to see him again Friday the 17th. One proud and happy MoM!

Went through the pictures that were taken for that days PIR. I also, saw him marching and playing. Tears of joy for sure!!

I haven't heard from my SR since the phone call we got 2 1/2 weeks ago. No letters, nothing. Have any of you gotten letters from yours? I'm getting worried. I know they are busy, but still! Is there someone I should call? If I don't get a letter tomorrow, I think I may lose my mind! Help?!?!?
I did get a letter today. And now I can't stop crying!!! No one is going to be able to be there for her for PIR next week. She understands (she says), but she also feels bad about it. Which (of course) made me feel bad also!! And once the waterworks started, I couldn't shut them off!! Aaahhhhh!!! She is doing well other than that though. So excited to move on to A school and the next step forward. I am an extremely proud mama!!
Thank you teachermom!! If you'd like her last name, I can PM it to you. I already checked to make sure it woukd be ok. I may even be able to send a pic if I can figure it out!! I will check back later. Anyone else going to PIR next week and would be willing to give my SR a hug from me, I will PM the info to you as well - just let me know when woukd work best. And I will be watching the live feed both tomorrow and next week!!

I will be there as well. I will give your SR a ((hugs)) as well. Are you on FB ?

Thanks for the heads up! I found ONE as well.
