Hi. My son is in the 900 Div. I wonder if he is happy about this or not. I am pleased about it!

Hi everyone - our son has a great photo on RTC Facebook as he was performing earlier this month - he does the drill with the rifles...he was NJROTC

My SR is in this Ship. Div 911. PIR 2/3/2012

My daughter is in ship 02 div 919

My son is in Ship 02 Div 915. Brooklynsmom, have you gotten any word from your SR yet? We were expecting it would be three weeks, but our son left on 1/03 and none of us have gotten letters yet. Just to let you know not to worry if you don't hear from them for a while longer than expected..We are so proud, and just can't wait to hear something.  ~ Betsy

My daughter is in Ship 02 Div. 922.

Hello ML, just found this group....lol not bad 4weeks in. My son is in Ship 02 Div 922 also.

Hi Freese.  I got 2 letters from my daughter, but no phone call.  How about you?

Yes, I received the 1st letter on the back of the formal navy letter, and received a second one (he also wrote a little one for my 14yr old daughter) and to much of my surprise I did get a phone call last Friday night... :) I saw one of his friends posted yesterday that he received a letter. I was hoping for something today, but nothing yet....:(

To Freese:

I received 2 letters from my daughter but no phone call.  Her letters were written last week and she said she expected to be able to call on Friday, but she didn't.  I don't know why, but in her letters she sounded good.  She said she had the "recruit crud" (a bad cold and sinus infection).  The corpsman told her it was the "rite of passage" for a recruit.  She said she had made several good friends.  I am glad to hear that.  Where will your son be going to A School.  My daughter goes to San Antonio.
