Happy Leap Day!
Missouri got hit with bad storms last night, especially the southwest area. One fatality so far and lots of damage. My prayers to all those affected.

Happy Tuesday everyone.....

CC - glad to hear that your great-nephew was any where near the incident that took place on the campus. Contined prayers for the families of loved ones injured and the community as a whole!

Sherrill - safe travels to you and your sailor. Good Luck to your sailor as well on the exams!

MNM - I know these budget cuts are really messing with my sailors thought process and the true direction he would like to go in the NAVY. Makes me so angry, especially with no control on re-enlistments :(

I try to guide Ryan to take it one day at a time with long deep breathes. As long as he does his part the rest is in GOD's hand.

Asking everyone for thoughts and payers for the 5 students and families of the  students that were shot at Chardon High School in Ohio this morning!! One of our great-nephews is senior there. He was in school when it happened but, Thank God he was in a different part of the building!! He is home now, with his family and safe and sound!!!

Texas back and reporting for Monday muster.....

Sorry I ahve been gone so long. We had some issues at work and it has been a grueling last two weeks.

On a happier note, all is well on the homefront. Valentine's Day was nice and even heard from my sailor. We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary on the 17th...dinner and dancing was fun :-) We have been busy doing some home repairs and spring cleaning.

Ryan is prepping of the March advancement exams. Finger crossed all goes well for him!

Still concerned with all the DOD budget cuts and the ERB decisions coming down. Continuned prayers for all our loved ones!

Hope everyone has a great day....a heck how about the week!?!

Missouri reporting. Looks like we're going to have a beautiful day here.
Went to baby shower yesterday & the only one I knew was the mom-to-be & her mother. This young lady was once engaged to my oldest son so it was a little awkward. Then her husband walked in and even though I had been told he greatly resembles my son it was quite a shock. Wasn't prepared for that one.

Hope you all have a great week!
