Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!

I've gained 5 lbs just thinking about all your yummy treats!  Red velvet cupcakes - absolute heaven!

Connie:  your mother sounds like a magnificant woman.  I so admire the older independent ones who have so much spunk.  I have an 85 year old aunt that was proposed to a few years ago by a man much younger than her but she said no cause she didn't want to be tied down!

Sherrill- I do cherish the time with my Mom. I am lucky, I am the one who lives the one that lives the closest to her. Most of my brother's and sister's live out of state. We lost one of my sister's 27 years ago, and we lost my Papa 2 years ago! I definitely know how lucky I am! Mom still lives on her own about 1 mile  from me, she heats her home with a wood stove. She even cuts and hauls her own wood in from the wood pile outside, with a little red wagon. Very independent and can really dig her heels in when she wants too...Like when we talk to her about moving in with one of us!! She is such a kick!! We are all so blessed!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!  I am surprising Hank with Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert after doing his favorite for dinner Grilled Rib Eyes! He has been so good since the first of the year, loosing the 8lbs he gained at Christmas. So I feel he deserves a sweet reward! I also got him a couple of doo-hickies for dusting off his Corvette. :)

Connie- Mmmmm!  I would be happy to see you coming with all those yum-yums!! They sound so good! Hope you got some rest.

Cindy- I will be watching for ya! Let's do it!

Just got back from my morning with the Birthday girl!! I took her in to renew her driver's license, then a nice hair cut and lunch at our favorite Chinese restaurant... She was first in line at the DMV, first appointment of the day at the salon and we were in and out of the restaurant before noon!! What a fun morning!!
