Good Morning My Girlies!!

Mommas, somebody or somebodies are making very foolish decisions!  of course any well run operation or business keeps those well trained, with a desire to serve with a clean record and great evals....apparently NOT the Navy!

Sherrill since your Sailor is going to be the one who will be affected by this the soonest, i will certainly be thinking of him and wishing him all the luck in the world that he will be allowed to re-enlist.

Hey gang, Good Morning! We got 4 more inches of snow last night, which we needed. Today is gonna be quiet cold... sounds like a good night for homemade roasted chicken noodle soup!! Ya know what? I have access to farm fresh milk, eggs and homemade butter here and if you check at your grocery store you can still get lard!! It is usually with the refrigerated meats or in the baking isle. I keep one in the freezer and one in the fridge at all times, I don't use anything but lard in my pie crusts.

Reds- Last night was the best nights sleep I have had in ages! There is an adjustment period. But, I actually found what works for me and slept until 6 am today!! I had been waking up at 3-4 am! I am loving this bed!! It sounds like you are going to be busy planning the 50th! I am so lucky, Hank realizes what things like that take and he knows what it can take out of me as well!

MNM- Chin up, it will all be back to normal soon!!

Debbie- Enjoy your sunshine!!

Sherrill- Thinking of you and your running shoes... It sounds like you are running with your hair on fire! Stop, Drop and Roll!

Have a good day all!

Sherrill - so glad you sailor made it home. Sure hope the co-ed shower went well & he stayed awake for it.LOL
I know that you all are busy we the last minute check list.
Have fun, enjoy every moment and give the bride & groom to be a big {HUG} from N4M Aunties!!

CC - how's the new bed? Are you sleeping like a baby yet?

Connie - that was a beautiful cake; almost too pretty to cut, but I know that didn't stop ya. LOL

Ryan starts C School today along with his preparations for the March advancement exam. He has afull plate for the next 6 weeks. I am PRAYING he keeps his priorities in-line!!

Well preparations are under way for my in-laws SURPRISE 50th wedding anniversary celebration in April. Lots to do and my hubby thinks it's no big deal....men always think everything just happens automagically....grrrr

Hey Y'all.  Coming to you live from the sunny south.  We haven't had sun in what seems to be weeks.  Sherrill, I know this is a busy time for you and your family, I hope everything goes well for y'all.  As for the chocolate cake receip, I have the receip, but the ingredients are what are hard to come by.  My grandmother used fresh milk, fresh eggs and homemade butter.  Those are things you have a hard time getting these days and what made her cakes so special.  Hope y'all have a great day.

Sherrill- Sounds like your week will definitely fly by. The final countdown has begun and sounds like you well on your way to checking off the things on that list! Don't forget to stop and take a deep breath once in a while!!

Morning all! Cindy- I agree it is over, see ya next year Super Bowl. It was a good game, but I am glad it's over too!

Hope you all have a super day!!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone!  We don't have a team in it this year, but are pulling for the Giants... What is on everyone's menu for today? Were doing veggie dip, Hank's famous nachos and french dip sandwhiches. Sure wish B and the girls were here to enjoy it with us.

Have a fun day everyone...
