Howdy from Texas on this Happy Hump Day!!

MNM ~ sounds like you have a busy but enjoyable agenda today. Happy trails to you :-)

CC - it is good we are getting just about weekely rains but we are still SO behind. They say the drought for our area will continue through 2012 :(

Sherrill - enjoy the movie tonight, sounds fun!

Good morning my girlies....we're all "zipping" along so nicely!!!

Happy Wednesday and Happy Feb. 1 Gals!

Reds- It sounds like you are getting some much needed moisture lately! Wish we could get some too. I guess there is a slight chance for some snow Thurs night into Friday but it doesn't sound like much for us. The mountains are quite shy of regular snowfall amounts again this year which means we could rationing outdoor watering here this summer...Farms and ranches wont get their alotted irrigation water either....

I totally enjoyed my class yesterday! I think I will stick to quilting, sewing knitting and my other stuff though. My hands just cant handle the rug making. I guess I will crochet rugs instead :{ Hey maybe I will just buy them !!! LOL

Have a great day everyone!

HappY wet Tuesday from Texas....60s here too!
Comment by ColoradoConnie on January 31, 2012 at 10:10am

Good day all, wow I have been awake since 2:15 this AM... it sure makes the day drag. I have another rug making class today, this one should be easier on the old arthritic hands! Wish me luck, girls. :)

Sherrill- I love the way you think too! I have had an idea as to how to solve our budget woes and clear the deficit...Make our politicians hold down a minimum wage full time job with no benefits and work in gov't for free!! You think they may be a bit more motivated to get things done? Ha!

Go out and make it a great day, share a smile with someone who lost theirs!

Texas reporting for the 'end of the day' Monday muster....busy at work :(

Okay, I am with Cindy I too have done zip-line back in February 2010 on my 20th wedding anniversary. It took me a while to get going but I will admit it was fun:)

Sherrill - prayers for a fast and safe return for your Sailor/Groom to be!

CC - prayers for the dr to give B his release and let him SERVE!!

Mommy - happy to hear that your sailor still has high spirits and a positive attitude during TAD. She must get that from somewhere?!?

Hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was too SHORT!! LOL

MNM- I will never understand the way the Gov't works. It is one of those stupid things that make me scratch my head and wonder... Hmmmmm...and then grrrrrrrr!

Happy Monday all! Connie- I tried to cross the bridge once, but can't handle that it moves under my feet from the wind!! So when friends and family come to visit I stay on one side and they go do their thing...I am quite content to find some shade and wait for them!! It is weird, I don't mind flying, but heights bother me. I prefer to ride the train through the gorge and look up, up, waaaaay up at the bridge!

Cindy- That is the kind of winter we're having out here. frigid temps, wind and snow one day... then Chinook winds and in the 60's the next. It no wonder everyone has colds they can't shake. Hank is stuggling with one and has been miserable. He is doing great on his post holiday weight loss! Yesterday he had the munchies and ate a quarter of a head of cabbage instead of junk!! He has amazing will power!

Hope you all have a great day!

Morning ladies!  We heard from B yesterday... He saw a specialist (civilian) and had more tests run in the past couple of weeks. This Dr is refusing to send him out to the fleet because of one seizure, So B is digging in his heels and is going to fight it. They want him to take a disability and early discharge, B wants to serve! This could take a while.... They don't know my son! "Strong Willed" is a good definition...Hmmm where did he get that from? :)

Zipline- There are a couple not too far from us. Up near the Royal Gorge (home of the world's highest suspension bridge) MNM I am with you I think I'll keep my feet firmly planted on the ground!
