Good Friday all my friends! My class was a blast! There were just 2 of us and the instructor we laughed and played all thru it! I now have an adorable coaster to show for all of my hard work. Sadly, I don't think I will be able to do a whole rug... darned arthritis in my hands. Grrrrrr! But I still have a class on Tuesday that doesn't require so much hand strength. I am determined to make some rugs for the house!

Any news yet on budget cuts? Ft Carson in Colorado Springs doesn't sound like they will be hit too hard...They are still expanding everywhere.

Connie- Hot Buns! Lolololol! You just slay me! :)

Have a great day everyone!

MNM if you find a link outlining the cuts will you please post?  all i ever heard today was that the Army and Marines will be taking the biggest cuts but Spec. Ops funding will continue to be increased.

Happy Thursday AT Gals.....

We did get some much needed rain yesterday but still not out of the drought yet. Please pray more rain heads our way!

Joshmom ~ Yay for classing up for your sailor. Now the ball is rolling....

CC ~ enjoy your 'Happy Hooker' class. Maybe you can post some pics later of your project.

MNM - nice to have a large event come to your town/city for the extra revenue it brings but NOT all the traffic & headaches too :(

Navy announces 2012 Navy week schedule and I am happy to say 'HOUSTON' made the list. HooYah!

Joshmom- Hope that J does well in his classes. It is always nice once they get rolling! The waiting is hard.

Drewsmom- It sounds like a big city to me...we have the cows and horses, but no Palm trees here in Penrose, Co. No sand either...

MNM- I wish I could get tickets to join you. Wouldn't it be a kick  for us to join you and support our wounded warriors!

Hope you all stay out of the path of these hateful tornadoes! Have a great day!

Hey everybody, morning! Had an appointment yesterday for a recheck and things are still looking good! HooYah! I am running away from home today to take a Rug Hooking class...It goes for most of the day. I may just become a "Happy Hooker" LOL

Reds-  I am up for a Super Bowl party! What can I bring?? :) Please send a little of your rain North to Colorado, we are sooo dry! The Mountains have snow thank goodness but here we are bone dry.

Good afternoon ladies!

I just got a call from the J man and he got the famous 4:00 am knock on his door to inform him that he starts ATT classes tomorrow.  Woo Hoo it's another step forward!  He's excited.  Guess I better do a little research on ATT so I know what he'll be studying!

Happy "WET" Hump Day from Texas.....finally we need the rain bad but not the high winds and several tornados.

Hopefully we wont loose power at work....at leaast I have my coffee in hand :-)

Talked to Ryan last night and he is in prep mode for the March Advancement exams, on top of, beginning C School 2/6.

I had to give him my "motherly advice" on priortizing his study efforts in with his downtime and too NOT put off studying. I told him in the long run, he would be proud of himself for the decisions HE made.

Who's ready for some Super Bowl Football....my house is!!

Hey Y'all.  Still digging out from the storms here in Alabama.  But at least the sun is shining.  My sailor is in Lemoore, he's adjusting to his new surroundings.  He's not lonely or depressed, but he is going through some Dorthy moments(there's no place like home).  He aways thought everywhere in CA would be a big city, not Lemoore.  He says there is only sand and Palm trees, with a few cows.  Hope y'all have a great day.
