Reporting from a wet & cold Texas for Thursday muster....

Last day at work; out of here at noon....home to wrap my little fingers off! We finally finished decorating our tree but the girls complained it was still needing something underneath.....I told them they must have been naughty since it was bare....LOL

7 more days and our Sailor will be home. Excited that we will get to be together to ring in the new year! Sent him a small Christmas care package. It should arrive today. We will be skyping on Christmas morning. Just LOVE this new technology :-)

Merry Christmas to all you lovely ladies and your families too and don't forget all of OUR sailors, whereever they may be! "Fair winds and following seas"

A Snowy Good Morning from Colorado! Thank you all for the Congratulations! We have 3 more inches this AM after close to 8 out of Tuesday's storm., and it is still coming down like crazy!

MNM- Thinking of you as you travel into Denver today, They are saying close to 10 in.  I am praying that this storm doesn't cause any major delays for you! I am sure California will sure look good to you! Be safe.

Cindy- Ha! "The Cattleman!!" B is a real crack up, always has been!   Pushing that pause button was so easy...so glad it helped! Yes, Hank is the biggest "Snacker" I have ever known. In my family we got an after school snack and 3 squares a day, Hank's family "Graze" all day long! I don't know how he can snack 20 min. before dinner and still eat! But he has no weight issues!

Sherrill- I hope that the wedding goes off without a hitch. Enjoy babysitting! B and Jessi are trying to work out the Christmas eve, Christmas Day schedule... I think Abi will spend Christmas Eve day with her Daddy's family, Christmas midday at Jessi's family's big dinner get together and it sounds like we will have them for dessert and football in the evening!   Be sure and fire up that Skype, praying you can visit with and at least "See" your Sailor!

Reds- Hope the rest of the work days pass by quickly for you!

Happy Wednesday!  Well they did it! Brandon and Jessi are now married! B was so funny, after the ceremony they received a package of discount coupons from the Colorado Cattleman's Assoc and B says"I thought we applied for a marriage license, not a cattle rancher's license!" He cracks me up!

Reds- I pushed that pause button for you. Now take a deep breath and go for it!

MNM- sounds like the weather is not going to stay south. Hope you have a good trip through our fine state.

Sherrill- sending hugs and hope that you have a Blessed Holiday!

Cindy- 4 more days 'til Christmas! I am done baking, shopping and wrapping... I did get an early present from my Santa, a new microwave. I amhe other still reading the owners manual and trying to figure out how to reheat my coffee let alone all of the other stuff it does! Hank said he didnt want to wrap it. I think he just wanted to make popcorn! The old one died last month!!! LOL! I am so Blessed! :)

Morning! Well we got 41/2 in. of beautiful snow here this morning! Not too bad temp wise. Sounds really bad in the southeast corner of the state.

MNM- Thursday there could be more snow and it shouldn't be an issue as far north as Denver.

Comment by ColoradoConnie on December 19, 2011 at 1:02pm

MNM- I'll do the best that I can as far "S" in Denver for Thursday! I will be thinking of you then for a safe trip!

CC ~ happy to hear your Sailor made it home safely! Congrats on the wedding and be sure to share some pics. Enjoy your visit and rest while you can :-)

Drew's Mom Debbie - Hooray for your sailor being home; enjoy!

Hey Sherrill, I hope you had a wonderful Sunday. B brought us a gorgeous warm (64 degree) day from Florida yesterday. But we are in for more storms and snow accumulations today into tomorrow! Depending on where you are in Colorado, you could get a trace- 20 inches and blizzard conditions. So glad that its coming now and not when B was trying to get home. We want to have a White Christmas... but not weather that causes delays for flights etc!

Comment by ColoradoConnie on December 19, 2011 at 10:00am

Hooray For you Drew's Mom Debbie! I can bake with the best of them, but when it comes to making candy I am a true FLOP! Kudos to you!
