Greetings Ladies! Heard from B yesterday. He was so thrilled that he had gotten to see the Blue Angels at an air show on Veterans Day! I knew that they are based there, but didn't realize they did things like this. I guess it does make sense when you think about it! Any way he was so psyched. It was neat to hear my 30 year old son gushing like a 10 year old again!! Oh how I wish we could have been there. I have never seen them perform live before.

Well the winds are really whipping here, 100 mph yesterday in Boulder and we had some in our area as high as 87 mph!! I will be glad when they are gone. If you are out in them it is like getting sand blasted, and tumbleweeds are everywhere!! They pile up thick as walls when they get hung up in the fences!! Lots of yard work to do next few days! Anyone want a Cowboy Christmas tree for the holidays? I have one or two I could ship you.

Hope that all of you have a wonderful Sunday!

Connie- Thank you for sharing the picture, it was a wonderful tribute!

We really enjoyed the game last night from the Carl Vinson. I thought it was so appropriate that every one who was associated with the game was a Veteran, from the young man who sang the national anthem to the ref's! We were rooting for Michigan State, but it was not to be.

Happy belated birthday Chris!

It is extremely windy here today! Expecting winds upwards of 55-60 mph! Great day to stay inside and start some holiday baking.Every time I take the "pups" out one chases the baby tumble weeds, the other runs from them!

Hope you all have a good Saturday! We usually hear from Brandon on Saturday. I just Love Saturday!!!! Can you tell?

Good Friday all! Happy Veteran's Day! We are so blessed with our freedom, because of those who have served and are serving our country! Thinking so much of my late father today as he was a Koren war vet. God bless and protect our  Sailor sons and daughters as well as all who serve today!

Such sad news about the commander of The USS Harry Truman! My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his crew.

joyce- I hope the process goes quickly for your son.

Reds- Sorry to hear your son will not be able to get home for Thanksgiving! Perhaps Christmas is possible? But a Trip sounds like fun!

Drew's Mom- I agree make sure you have plenty. They can really put away the groceries! Bless you for having the extra mouths there to feed!
