Texas reporting for a blue Thursday.....

Well it looks like my sailor won't be coming home for Thanksgiving :(

He finished TAD and moved into his shop and there won't be enough cover in the shop since others already had their chits approved ahead of him.

Dilemma on wether to take Thanksgiving to him and other buddies or not.....last minute trip?!?!?!

Sherrill - I bet the show was Awesome and Cathy Rigby too!

Happy Birthday MARINES!!

Sad news for the USS Harry Truman, thoughts and prayers go out to them all.

A really big, Hey Y'all.  Counting the days till T-day.  Going to have about 16 at my house this year.  Going to have extra Sailors from Missouri and New Mexico, anybody have suggestions on foods that would make them feel more at home.  Something that they might have at home, that we would not neccesarily think about.  Thanks for your help and have a great day.

Bama checking in for the day.  Cloudy with rain,   Freezing by the weekend.  But that's the way it is in the South.  If you don't like the weather today, wait till tomorow it will be completely different.  It sounds like this is a very lively group, I just hope I can keep up.  Have a great day.

Texas reporting for Hump Day muster......alot cooler here this mormning but no complaints!

HAPPY BIRHTDAY to ALL our Sailors with NOVEMBER birthdays - wishing them all many blessings to come :-) {{HUGZ from N4M}}

Hard to beleive that Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away; where did the time/year go?

CC - hot tea is a must in the winter; I am going to look for the 'throat coat' and try it too, thanks.

Connie - hope you feel better soon!! Go ahead and sit down, put your feet up and relax....that always makes me feel better :-)

Sherrill - enjoy the play; love Peter Pan!

Morning everyone! Hope you are all having a good day today.

bryters...Sounds like an exciting day! Years back I worked in a large credit union and one of the tellers pulled her dye packet out of her drawer...she was new and had no idea what it was and was balancing out for the day. What a mess when it exploded!! We also had a Senior Vice president who would come in early and forget to turn off the security system bringing in the police! But your day sounds like a lot more excitement! LOL

Connie- sorry to hear you have a sore throat! Drink lots of licorice tea!! Works great. You can by an organic tea called throat coat. It works great! This time of year I keep it stocked in my pantry...

I can't believe how many Nov. Birthdays we have. B's is on the 28th he was born on Thanksgiving day! We joke that he was the only turkey I got that year!

We also get the "Snow storm rush here" People freak out and run out to stock the fridge and pantry afraid they will be snowed in for weeks!

Please keep my Nephew Ben in your thoughts today as he is graduating Boot Camp in Ft. Benning Georgia. This makes The 5th member of our family to be actively serving our country! We are so Proud of our new "Private Benjamin"! :) His Dad (middle brother) is National Guard and has been to Iraq and Kuwait twice now.

MNM: Chris finished physical therapy on Monday. He sees the surgeon on Thursday. Will see what he says. He has cartlidge floating around in the shoulder and a small tear in back of shoulder. You would think they would send him for another mri before seeing surgeon but no. Sure he will send him for one after thursday to decide on surgery. chris seems to think it will happen.

So sorry I havent been on in sooo long. Work has been unbelievable.

Connie, you almost saw me on the News and it was almost in handcuffs! No joking.

A customer reached over the counter, feeling around and pushed the silent alarm. I was in my office oblivious to the situation, when I saw police coming from every where.

I'm like wow, somethings going on. My co-worker calmly saids, they're here.  "WHAT", she then explains what happend. Now you all know my body jumps in high gear long before my brain engages. and..... drum roll.... Yep I go running out the door, waying my hands yelling "were ok, were ok"

Luckly I wasnt thrown to the ground and handcuffed. RRRR, I just cant believe she didnt call me in to turn it off, and just sat there lecturing the man no to put his hands accross the counter.   I'm happy to report I won't be needing any bail money.

Hope you feel better Connie.
