Texas reporting in for Monday muster......

Sounds like all of your sailors are doing well and already out on deployment/about to leave; good luck to them ALL!

Ryan is just about done with his TAD.....10/24 is his deadline. Since he isn't assigned to a carrier or amphibious assault ship his assignment wasn't that bad just boring (his words).
He mans a shop (almost like a convient store) on base for the Navy personell at Tinker. He stocks items when they are low. A shipmate has to clean the head (bathrooms) and sweep/mop floors; so he is NOT complaining too loud....LOL

They usually get assigned duty watch one a month and he just did is rotation this past weekend; and has off today. Lucky boy!

I send one care package a month of goodies including the Purex all in one sheets. He is a happy camper :-)

Here's to smooth sailing (no pun intended) for all our sailors that are deployed and busy days/nights ahead for minimal homesicknesses...

good afternoon my girlies!!  Sailor Son called early this morning on his way to eat some dinner.  when i ask "how's the food?" he says "just ok" but i have sent and will send more bottles of hot sauce, pepper and salt mills (he loves the mills...what can i say!) he too tells me of long work hours in his emails...no word of TAD/cranking yet. i also sent Halloween stuff....scary mask for him and one to share : ) oh and i almost forgot....he's seen "the light of day" only once since he arrived on board.....ruh roh !
