Hello there Ladies!
I joined this group when my son moved from boot camp to A school in Pensacola. Loved the group and was a faithful reader for about a month. I felt I had to "seperate" from N4M for a while. My son is not one to call or share his activities/life with me. I felt I was "interviewing" him everytime I could get him on the phone. It was eatting me alive to hear about other moms who knew what was happening in their sailors life.
I've missed all of you. I just read the last 25 or so pages of posts. I (think) I have come to accept the way he is. I need the support of all you ladies as he moves on in his career.
He just left after a 12 day leave, and reported to C School in Oceana, VA beach. Has been assigned a squadron that will put him on the Enterprise apparently.
I'm happy to be back here ladies
Well Chris headed back to Norfolk today. Had his engagement party yesterday. We had a great time. Wedding date set for Sept 2013. Chris will get an mri end of week for his arm. Will see what kind of duty he will have when he gets back.
You can only vote through facebook once daily but you can vote for a cause in each of the other monetary categories with the rest of your votes. If you vote for another cause in the $50,000 grant then it would basically cancel out the vote for MAS. You can easily register your email address or anyone else's in your household and have more votes that way. Once you register an email they will send you an email that you have to confirm you received it then you are good to go. They do that because in the past they have had problems with "robot" voting and by having to confirm the email they feel like it is a real person voting and not some sort of automated system.
Thanks for voting Connie and Sherrill!
Darn Connie - I guess we will have to go to the backup plan of going to the store with glue and opening the boxes to get the codes then glue them back together before we get caught. Just kidding but I think some moms are ready to resort to anything to win this money for our troops.
Okay go to http://www.refresheverything.com and at the bottom left hand corner of the page you will see "Sign in" click on that and another box will pull up and in that box one of the choices is "Login with facebook" click on that and once you login to facebook it will take you back to the Pepsi page you were on. There will be 4 boxes that show the monetary amounts and you click on $50,000 then go back and right next to monetary amounts click on the box to sort by current leaders (easiest way to find it) and scroll down to #9 (for now) and you will see Molly's Adopt a Sailor and you click on "vote for this".
Thank you so much for voting! Let me know if you have any questions. I tried to write it out step by step.
