good morning my girlies! hot and humid in the Bluff City.

it's funny that of all people i end up with the responsibility of anyone's checkbook...my dear husband is so patient with me when he says "Darlin' do you have any debit receipts in your purse?" i'll dig around and usually come up with 4 or 5!

Wow lots of reading to get caught up. I sure miss my daily dose of you wonderful fun moms. you always brighten my day.

Diane, Your son should get a very nice certificate. Try to get him to send it home before it gets rinkled. I had my Husbands framed and we still have it on our wall. A friend of mine is 89 and was a prisoner of war in WW2 and he carries his "shellback card" in his wallet still today (cant read it well though). Congrats to him.

I purchased "Proud Navy Mom Ribbon" (for PIR) and If I can find the roll, I will mail you some.  I had a piece hanging from my mirror (until I chased that hit & Run driver and had to take it down in case that's what he remembered about my car), and some around a scrunchy to pull my hair back. I'll let you know if I find where I put it.

Texas reporting for Tuesday muster....

Kidney stones are NO fun....I have had them twice; after my last two pregancies. Would have gladly had 20 more kids instead of passing them.

Mommy - prayers for your puppie paris to get better soon. so sorry to hear sailor girl may have ulcers; hope those meds do the trick and get her back on her feet :-)

Diane - congrats to your sailor (sellback)!!

Connie - good luck on the balancing...if you find any extra $$ please snd it my way. LOL

Itz a HaPpY day in Htown ~ we have RAIN :-)

Water fell from the sky during my commute to work this morning and it's still falling....cup of java in hand & i'm ready to start the day!!

Mommy I remember having kidney stones removed from our dog years ago and when I went to pick her up the vet was showing me what I thought was a model of what the kidney stones looked like and when I questioned him about what size her's was compared to the model he said this is not a model this is what I removed from your dog.  I was shocked at the size and couldn't believe something so big was inside my little chihuahua mix!  Two of our three sons and my husband have all had kidney stones.  Talk about bringing a tough guy to his knees that will do it.
