OK alot of really weird things going on. First my hubby got stationed in Norfolk, which is where I was stationed. Second, the name of his squadron is the Dusty Dogs, which I had a dog named Dusty Dog when I was growing up. Third, his command is 4 hangers away from where mine was. Really really weird  lol A sign from above maybe?

good morning girlies!!!  look at all these beautiful kiddos!! congrats to everyone!

Cindy-what you're talking about is "Cranking"....heard about that on the Bush page and from that retired Navy person we ran into on Memorial Day.  i don't know how long it lasts though and i think everyone has to have a "turn" at Cranking.

Marine- Some say its dry docked, others say its away. I have no idea what is going on. I know that things change on a dime. I didn't think they were out at first because they just got back in December. We should know more here soon.....he is getting ready to go to his orders brief!!!

Alright ladies, just talked to R his paperwork is complete. He is still scheduled to leave this afternoon to come home.....the countdown is on: tick, tock, tick, tock!!

He still gets to take his original approved leave. Will return to PNAS afterwards complete travel briefing & checkout process depart for Htown for remainder of days before he is to report to Tinker on 6/25. Hallejuah!

Marine- He will be working in a helo squadron attached to the Truman, which is underway. So no C school for him until he gets back. They just left on May 21st for a 6-7 month deployment, so its check in and move out for him!!

Alysia tell Red that if he gets to the airport and finds a long line to check in and he is running short on time find one of the airport employees and tell them he is active military and he will get moved to the front of the line.  One day we were waiting in a LONG line to check in and I noticed them pulling military members that were in uniform out of line and escorting them to the front and I asked them why they were pulling them aside and the lady told me if they are active military they automatically get moved to the front of the line.  Since the Navy doesn't want them to travel in uniform the airport employees won't know they are military unless they tell them.
