For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Work has almost taken over my life this week, I can hardly keep up.

Tink, "the sewing room helper" is ready to get busy....i am teaching her that this is a project for the "Navy" so as i work on each one she says "mommy is this one for the Navy too?" she is being a great little helper!!!!
ok for the "get together" i looked on the map and the way i see it is that i am probably the one most "centrally located"....my house....it's a mess with fabric scraps but if y'all don't care i won't either...you all want margaritas and wings, right?
Checking in from Texas Connie. What an awesome sight to see the ships come in to New York. MNM your daughters description brought tears to my eyes. I would LOVE to be present for a homecoming even though my son isn't on a ship. I want to ride on the duck bus - save me a seat please.
