Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hello Awesome Navy Moms!  This is the best group! Some groups are so negative, ugh.

Work has almost taken over my life this week, I can hardly keep up.

I'll be saying prayers tonight for the Gold Star Family.  It's soooo sad.

I'll Bring the BBQ, & Ribs!  We have RV and Camping space at my house (4 acres not far from Connies)

My heart just aches for the Marine killed in NY and his family! Prayers for peace during this difficult time that they are enduring.

Donna - great to hear that the wedding plans are moving forward and you found the 'dress'; how exciting!

good afternoon my girlies!!!  husband home this morning and he does not share the pc well....something about working and paying the mortgage and putting food on the table...hmmmm. so i finally had to drag out the laptop which you all know i hate.

marine_navy is floating!!!  post more pics!!!!! and joyce how awesome of you to get the pic for her!!!

Tink, "the sewing room helper" is ready to get busy....i am teaching her that this is a project for the "Navy" so as i work on each one she says "mommy is this one for the Navy too?" she is being a great little helper!!!! 

ok for the "get together" i looked on the map and the way i see it is that i am probably the one most "centrally located"....my house....it's a mess with fabric scraps but if y'all don't care i won't either...you all want margaritas and wings, right?

Checking in from Texas Connie.  What an awesome sight to see the ships come in to New York.  MNM your daughters description brought tears to my eyes.  I would LOVE to be present for a homecoming even though my son isn't on a ship.  I want to ride on the duck bus - save me a seat please.

MNM: Loved being able to semi return the favor. Hope she has a great time in NYC it really is a great city. Chris told me he is marching in a parade on memorial day. I am so proud to be a navy mom.

MNM - that is AWESOME!! I am so glad that your sailor is enjoying herself and having some very memorable experiences too. I know you our a Happy Momma for her too :-)
