That is so peaceful looking marine navy mom.  I long for the days when I could enjoy sitting on the deck at our beach cabin and watch the sunset.  Not a morning person so didn't see the sunrise too much.  Now thanks to Hurricane Ike we only have a piece of land at the beach.

Love the fabrics Connie - especially the "Pledge of Allegiance" too cool :-)

Hallelujah, I survived my final prom...she was beautiful if I don't say so myself!

R is doing good...he went scuba diving over the weekend and had a great time....he is hoping he will get his orders and still get to come home for sister's graduation. Keeping fingers crossed.

I am SO tired and we have a really busy work week ahead...better find the largest coffee cup at work and drink up :-)

I have lots planned to keep busy today, so I won't be sitting on the phone and watching the clocks. I planned it that way! Yes we are driving out to GLNS for PIR. We leave Wed. 4 am to head that way. Hoping for good weather, not to hot or too cold and no bad storms either. I-80 is good for crossing the Mighty Mississippi. No flooding that far up the river.
