thank you moms for sharing the information and helping me get this straight in my head. i was concerned that if he is allowed a choice in where he goes from here then he needed different perspectives....actually from what you have posted and what he told me...he knows what he would like to do and the "where" doesn't seem to matter.
Sherrill-i heard last night that the US is considering evacuating all military personnel from Japan...have you heard this? have you heard from your son?
ok unless some thing drastic happens in our neighborhood i won't have any more information on Mr. Sneaky. yesterday my neighbor Cindy was walking her dog and ran into other neighbors further into our neighborhood. there are "other" Mr. Sneakys around here and a retired attorney clued Cindy into what he suspects.
if you look at where and how all the Mr. Sneakys are parked then it's kind of obvious where they are looking. i will put this "diplomatically".....a man from a foreign land who moved in about a year or so ago.
Donna-THANK YOU!!! great to hear more about this and another perspective. sounds like your son would be happy any where!! wow that has got to be comforting to you. making the most out of it...that's what i wanted and needed to hear.
well my son is isn't a pheasant hunter so i'll just go with what he told me "mom it's not about the place, it's about the job". hehehehe
anybody else out there with an opinion about OK...please share what you know : )
hey girlies on our main pcola moms page i just posted that we missed our N4Ms birthday and put up a link of how it all came about....very interesting.
the mom shown in the video has THREE nuke boys...imagine that!!!
ok so i've heard that OK is not such a great place to go for C school or duty...even got an email from a mom who's Sailor is going to graduate in a couple of days and he's waiting for orders. he told his mom that going to OK would be AWFUL!!!
so a couple of weeks ago my Sailor tells me all the places he would like to go after A school....OK is #1 , #2 is CA and #3 is JAX. i asked why he likes these places and he says "mom it's not the place it's all about the job". he further explained that going to OK would be "squadron" requiring a LOT of travel.
so moms, can you translate for me? what the heck is he talking about? i mean i understand "squadron"....you're assigned to a group and you follow them to where ever for how ever long...right?
so.....why is OK bad? Monica says her husband loves it.
i am hoping you all will give me the real deal on this...don't sugar coat it....is he misinformed????
nitey nite Cindy-i'll stay outta trouble i promise : )
