Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yes Cindy he is handsome!  What an awesome sight!  I would love to see a ship come in with the sailors lining the deck.

OMG it is so COLD - Htown is a whopping 25 degrees; this is so much colder than what we are use too......brrrrr

Talked to R yesterday and his first day of ATT class went great! He is eager & ready to learn....hope he stays focused!

Alright ladies I have a question for you all.....what do you think of sending your Sailor (son) something for Valentines Day ~ Y or N?

Talked to R last night and he classed up and will begin his ATT classes this morning :) He sound excited to get the ball rolling....

Planning a visit during Spring Break next month...hope the weather improves some by then to allow us all to enjoy those beautiful beaches!

Sherrill-know what you mean!  Sailor son told me "we don't use first names, Mom!!" like i was crazy to even think it : /

Sailor Son has talked about his instructor that was cool guy Retired Navy Chief that reminded him of his granddaddy !!  now he's talking about another instructor who he likes and instructor's Navy son in law who is going to be awarded Army's Bronze Star.  Sailor son is very familiar with Bronze Star as his dad has 2. don't vouch for every detail on the story of Navy son in law because as usual...i could NOT hear him very well : (
