Welcome Betsy and Tj's Love!  Congratulations on your sailors reaching the next step in their Navy career.  If you have any questions just ask away.  If someone in this group doesn't know the answer then more than likely someone will know where to send you to find it.  My son was in Penscola for almost a year and is now in C school at Whidbey.

Hello. I have also just joined this group. :D I am looking forward to getting to know all the supportive loved ones I have not met yet. I see many familiar names :) My boyfriend went to Pensacola on 12/26 and he is an AT. I like to ask a lot of questions so heads up ;D lol.

Hi, I just joined your group too.  My son arrived in Pensacola on 12/26 and so far is just happy that he Phased up to Phase II today.  He will be ATI, so I will probably be looking for info and advice as he starts his classes.  He doesn't know when he will start yet, but from what I've seen on here, I've told him it could be awhile.

Heard from Chris. Test was ok. He is always just happy to keep passing.. They dont have class tomorrow. Every other friday they are off. He was going out tonight to some seafood resturant. Glad your daughter will be able to work through the foot issue

Marine/Navy: Chris does know your daughter(duh like you said only female) He will be going to nights next week. He really does prefer it (go figure). His roommate is also on night classes, so that will help with the sleeping. He did say first test today so he was studying with a buddy last night. Are they doing the surgery on her foot? How would that effect her class time?

well put chris on a plane at 6am in N.J. this morn. He had to run through the airport in atlanta to catch is flight to biloxi. Never a dull moment. He did make it and should be back to base by 11. He is on duty tonight. We had a great visit and will really miss him. We should get to see him again the end of May before he goes to VA.
