OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

MommyHunt the wait to find out if you are advanced is about 2 months after you take the test. From what I understand the test is only given at certain times of the year and even if you do pass it you may not advance because they only advance so many. I was just reading somewhere yesterday that only 3% will advance. Did I use the word "advance" enough in this explanation? LOL

I know 4 from my son's class ended up at Whidbey for C school (all Navy) and another one went to one of the C schools in the east but will end up at Whidbey after graduation. Several of the Marines went to Lemoore.
