Thanks for the info laides.  She classed up last week and the instructor told her "expect a graduation date 9 months from today".  yay!  I hope she gets a C school after so she can stay close to home a little longer.

Sherrill, Congratulations on the first bio grandchild (not that you love any of the others any less).  So sorry for the loss of your beloved pet, Micah.

Cindyloohoo - My son (ATI) spent 6 months at P'cola last year.  He started classes 4 weeks after getting there and had no wait time between ATT/AWAT and his I strand so sounds like your daughter is on the same time frame.  Once she gets into her I strand she'll get a graduation date (always subject to change though - it's the Navy)  BeachBunny gave the best advice - STUDY!  Best of Luck to her.

Thinking about A and C school really gets me missing my sailor and those school days when he was only a few states away and we could talk and text as much as we wanted.  My youngest first football game of the season is tomorrow night and last year me and sailor would text throughout the games (sailor wanted play by plays of how his brother was doing) I'm gonna miss that this year!  Oh well, I'll just send emails with pics to him this year.

Have a Great Day Ladies!

Pcola has been along process but he thought he'd be done in Nov, leaving 2 months earlier then thought...26 should be all of those without wait times....waited 2 months for ATT then had a two week wait to start Strand...after leaving Pcola will move onto C school in VA which will be for 8 weeks before moving to duty station....not all AT's have C school..hope that kind of helps you...:))

Congratuations!  What hard work.. you must be so proud!  Are you going up/down for grauduation?  I'm confused on the timing of this whole process and so is my Sailor.  I've read A school lasts for approximately 26 weeks for ATI's.  Does this include ATT/AWAT or is that time for STRAND only?  Thank you!

WOW..she is classing up in a week...most ATs have been waiting 2-4 months to class up...good for her!!....on the Pensacola group is a lot of information about Pcola...study, study and more studying...that's what my sailor told me...he's grad top of his class next week in Pcola, he's been there since March.......
