Good afternoon my girlies and hello and welcome to Imcbwnc! My Sailor is an ATI assigned to the USS George H W Bush....who, by the way, did NOT call his mother this weekend! grrr! well i did get a reply to a text... i sent a picture of a super cool shirt asking him if he liked it so i bought it for him : p
ok back to stripping wallpaper....yuck!
lmcbwnc - Welcome! Glad to have you join us. Enjoy this weekend with your son. Give him a big Navy mom hug and wish him well as he starts his Navy career. You can find a lot of info about A school on the "Sailors in Pensacola" group but also feel free to ask us any questions. We'll try to help you as much as we can. Those of us on here are from all over, I'm from Missouri.
Connie - Fingers crossed you get a phone call from your Sailor this weekend!
B-Ready - I'm jealous of your weather! As Connie mentioned, let us know where your son will be headed next. We love to hear all about our Sailors! Mine went to C school in Biloxi. My son called this morning (from Japan) and told me that one of his C school instructors is now assigned to his ship so now he'll be working under him in the same lab - small world! He's happy cuz he really liked this guy as an instructor.
Hugs and blessings to you all!
Hello ladies, I have a fine young man leaving
Monday from the Asheville, NC area for Boot
Camp. Anyone from this area?
Hello AT moms: I would like to introduce myself. I have a fine young man entering bootcamp Monday and then off to A school. Can anyone direct me to a site with info on the AT school? Much appreciated.
Happy Friday My Girlies!! wet and a tad bit chilly here in the Bluff City! My Sailor has 3 days off so i know i'll be getting a call some time during the weekend. He still loves the Navy...i am a happy happy Momma!
B-Ready, has your son received his new orders yet? let us know where he's going! and good luck to him in C school. Mine went to Oceana, loved it and runs back over there quite often.
Yeah it's Friday! Quite soggy here and the rain is suppose to continue YUCK! Got some prom kids coming over tomorrow for pictures on our dock but Mother Nature is not cooperating. Got fingers crossed that we can get a few taken between rain showers.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Sherrill- That makes me feel a little better but my sharpei can only fly at certain times of the year so hopefully if that does happen it will be at a time he can fly. I'd hate to leave him behind and have to send for him later.
Thanks everyone! Im so happy to have communcation with him again.
Joshmom- Im so scared to get stationed over seas. We want to be able to travel but I'd like to start with small steps moving away from home. Plus im not sure how my dogs would handle flying that far. Im sure its hard on him just like it is the rest of the family. Im so gald he is in P'cola right now. I live in GA & its about a 6-7 hour drive down there, so I'll be going down as much as possible.
Oh Cassidy what an adorable couple you two make! Thanks for the pic. You're gonna enjoy P'cola. We went down there last year over Memorial Day weekend to spend time with our Sailor and had a blast. Wow hard to believe it's been almost a year already! Sometimes I wish he was still here in the states so I could go visit him but that's just me being selfish. He joined the Navy to see the world and that's exactly what he's getting to do. He loves it in Japan and besides he calls me every week so I feel truely blessed to keep in touch with him.
Another day in the 80's here - lovin this weather!!!!
You all have a great day!
good evening my girlies : ) y'all cooking dinner? fijata chicken over salad greens here.
oh cassidy.... y'all are just too cute for words!
