Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Im back from PIR!!! Words cant even describe the feelings I have! I feel like proud doesnt even begin to explain how I feel!! Now its time to start planning my trip to P'cola, hurry up phase 2 Im ready for the beach :).  Hope yall have a fabulous day!

Good morning and happy Friday to you all!

Hubby and youngen just left for their annual father/son fishing trip so I've got the entire weekend to myself.  You'd think I'd go out and have some girl fun but no i've decided to do some spring cleaning.  Way over due! 

MNM - Good luck to your son.  I'm sure this will be a big change for you too, isn't your daughter leaving the Navy by the end of the year?  Lots of changes going on in your life.  Change is good though and what matters most is that everyone is happy!

 

Wow Cassidy is at PIR right now.....we all know how excited she is!!!!  Don't forget to post pics Cassidy and HAVE FUN!!!!!!

UPDATE on the Elvis Impersonator/Ricin guy....he was set up and has been released and all charges dropped.  the Grand Jury has indicted some other fool.

Cassidy, can't wait to see your pics and hear all about your trip to PIR!

Sherrill- ive been so emtional every since he left so I can only imagaine what ill be like at PIR, thank goodness for waterproof mascara lol. I have all my bags packed & I even put my makeup in there because im so scared of forgetting something. Ill for sure post pictures! I have honestly never felt so proud about something as I am for him doing this to better our future!

Thanks everyone! 3 more days! I just wish I had more time with him over the weekend, but as soon as I get home from PIR ill bee planning my trip to P'cola, thankfully its driving distance away :)
