Good morning all! Getting ready to spend the day with the ladies (mom, sisters, nieces) getting our toes painted having lunch and general girl goofing off stuff. Always a fun time.
Football is still going just finished the two week camp (2 practices a day) had this past week off and now regular practice starts Monday. First game should be in about three weeks. Son is getting pumped. He broke his arm during practice last year right before the first game and only got to play in the last game of the season. He doesn't much like the side lines!

Have a great weekend everyone!

good morning my girlies!!

joshmom, Poppa left some of his cash at one of the casinos : (  but usually does pretty good so he's still ahead! no early retirement here....maybe next time! several years ago our yard guy won 2.5 million....he was leaving Vegas and took one last "go" at a slot machine...sad to say most of his $$$ is gone hence "the lawn service".

Sherrill....woo hoo PREPAREDNESS!!!!

Happy Friday!
Sherrill - Smart thinking! I bet you're gonna be one that plane though even if your son dares to say he doesn't need your help. You could always threaten to wear your full Red Hat regalia! heeheehee ........On a serious note, prayers that his surgery goes well.

Connie - woohoo to all those hard working Sailors on that ship! Congrats & thanks to your son for his two years of service. Glad Poppa Smurf is back home. Bet he enjoyed the pie! Don't suppose he struck it rich in Vegas? LOL

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning my girlies!!!  woo hoo Poppa Smurf comes home from Vegas today!!!!

Sailor Son called again!  i am getting to "like" this being in the yards although he can call us easier than we can call him.....tight tight security where the boat is parked.  long days?  well that's what he thought and that was the way it was planned....his team was finished in TWO hours!!!!  did i tell you that they are removing all the air-tight/water-tight doors?  yep they got so many off and down where the contractors are supposed to pick them up....problem is....contractors can't keep up with the Navy guys and gals!  "SLOW DOWN" the contractors are yelling...."let us catch up"!!!

he also said he carried two hundred pound doors up two flights of steps, down another flight and then across the hanger bay....he ought to be pretty "ripped" after this....hehehehehehe

Sherrill, fingers crossed "duty driver" is unavailable!!!

Good Morning!

Great to hear Sailors are coming home on leave and I'm doing the Happy Dance that Chris26mom's Sailor got his "dream orders"  YEAH!

Sherrill & MNM - keeping your Sailors in my prayers that someday they too will be all healed up like Joyce's son.

Enjoy the day ladies!

marine navy mom: Chris is doing great with his shoulder. One year later and it seems to have healed really well. He does all his push ups without problem. How is your daughter doing with her ankle?
