Then we wont be reading about you in the headlines! Thank you for sharing the picture of the get together, Everyone looked so happy! Glad to hear they were to be there! Navy Moms Rock with Class! It touched my heart for sure!
We got to spend the afternoon with B's girls yesterday! I just love being a "Nana!" I about swollowed my teeth (real ones) when Abi came in the door saying " Nana, Honk! Nana, Honk! It took a minute to realize she meant HANK! We laughed til I snorted then laughed some more. Plans are being made for Sunday and Jessi's Birthday, will call B and see if we can get her something special!
dang it....just moments after i posted Mr. Sneaky was gone : ( sorry girlies i'll catch him next time and get a pic!
Susie is wearing the Navy Mom shirt and Sharon is next to her : ) i can't express how happy i am that this took place.
OH MY GOSH.....Poppa Smurf just went out to the mailbox and came in to tell me that Mr. Sneaky is baaaack!!! he's driving a Honda SUV, no darked out windows this time and he's wearing a white shirt and tie...he sooooo looks like an FBI man!!!!! i'll try to sneak up on him and snap a pic for you. gosh how i wish i had one of those super duper cameras that zoom in real close !
oh my gosh i almost forgot to tell my girlies....ok here's how it happened. Susie (former Tn lass now living in WA), Sharon (AuxLady) and i are PIR sisters.
Susie goes to JAX because her son has to have surgery....it was scary at first but he's gonna be just fine.
Susie calls Sharon (Brian's mom) and they met for dinner last night along with some other military moms.
Susie posts a pic made at the dinner. Sharon is smiling. i am BEYOND happy. my PIR sisters finally meet...plus some other military moms are there to brighten up Sharon's day.....well that just shows you How Military Moms Roll....doesn't it?
Sharon (AuxLady) at first was a teeny bit reluctant to firmly commit to the dinner meeting....she said she'd be there if Brian was doing ok....soooo as i have done in the past. i sent a text message giving her a gentle nudge.....reminding her that God sends Angels to show us love and support.
awww just look at all these pretty Military moms!!!
