Happy Friday Ladies!
My prayers for Sissy, Sailor Brian and his family, and to you CC. Sounds like you've been through so much already with your hip and now another surgery. You're a strong woman and I know with your positive attitude you'll come through again. I'll be keeping you in my prayers and wishing you well. Keep a smile on your face!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Morning All-
Connie- I am sorry to hear that Sissy was having siezures! I am sending Prayers and Hugs your way. Hope that they are controlled now. Prayers as well on Friday for Sailor Brian and his sweet little family!
I will be having my 3rd surgery on the right hip May 21, to remove the original hip replacement that was done in 2009. I hate to see it go, I had such remarkable results! Went from being completely wheelchair bound to working out on a treadmill!! But last summer I got a staph infection that settled in the area ( that bugger almost got me!) and have been on major antibiotics since. The problems are this: Staph is still in the area and has weakened the bone for around the implant...so it has to go. I will be back in my wheelchair 3-4 months while they blast me with more antibiotics. Then hopefully a new implant!! It is going to be a rough road, but I am up for it
Girlies....very important and i wanted you all to see this (my girlies are such Earlybirds!) Friday 2 pm EST Sailor Brian MA3 will have a bone marrow transplant. just talked to his momma, Sharon (AuxLady). The Good Lord got him this far. baby Elaina had her first birthday and Brian and Kate's 2nd anniversary is May 2nd. tomorrow is day 1 of 100. on the 100th day they run a test to see if the bone marrow transplant is working.
my dear ones, i have been overwhelmed a little lately. Sissy started having seizures again but thankfully we are pretty sure that we have it all back under control.
CC-you had a hip replacement? prayers for you sweet lady that the doctor will be guided into helping you get it all worked out.
i am always cheered up to catch up with all of you!
Good afternoon my girlies! here's to all your bright ideas ♥ LUV you all !!!
Morning! We head to Denver today to see my Hip surgeon, It will be interesting to see the ex-rays. Hip is loose and I am still on antibiotics since the staph infection in it last year...I am curious to see what we will be doing from here.
Hope you all have a great day!
Morning All! Hope that you all have a great day! It is shopping and errands day! Grrrr! LOL
Good Monday All! Sherrill- It's too bad your hubby doesn't like xeriscaping! I know a lot of people hear the word and think of rock and cactus! I wish he could see ours. Many people are surprised when we tell them that is what we have! It is over 20 years old now though and very well established! We could have some rain in the next couple of afternoons and that is always good news! I like that you let him haul the hoses and sprinklers around! LOL!
We talked to B yesterday afternoon! He is still in "Limbo" and is starting to struggle with it. It gives me a sense of peace knowing that he can still call Mom and Dad to talk to us about it! I know it is especially difficult because Jessi's EX is being difficult about child custody right now and B wants to be here to support her!
Hope you have a great start to your week!
Good Sunday! Wow Sherrill! I have never lived anywhere that the grass truly dies! Have you tried xeriscaping? That is what we do here, It sure cuts back on the water usage and there is always something green growing at some point here. We are considered High Mountain Desert. We don't have a lawn at all! It is all drought tolerant perrenials and native decorative grasses. I water twice a year, Except in the vegetable garden. We hit 92 degrees here yesterday and the same is forecast through next Thursday. Sounds like things are so similar and yet so different. Restaraunts have not served water since the late 70's here unless asked for as well! Please be safe as far as the fires go...keep your eyes on the skies! We spent yesterday in the yards and enjoyed the warm breezy day! Too warm for this time of year here.
Connie- Prayers for sure going out to Brian and his family! May the Lord guide the hands of his Dr.s and medical staff also!
Welcome Cmyhero! Just call me CC!
Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!
