Hello Ty's Mom and welcome to the AT page. i am thinking that your son's rating is Aircrew and that group will be of the most help to you especially when your new Sailor arrives in Pcola. Soon you should receive a letter from your Recruit giving you the date of his graduation from Boot Camp. a group will form (or you can do it yourself) with that PIR (Pass In Review) date where all the loved ones can join and share in the Boot Camp experience. Also if you are on Facebook there is a Recruit Training Command page where they have lots of information and post pictures of different divisions.
i checked you page and see that you are on the right track....joining different groups to gather as much information as you can. there is also a group for Pensacola that is very active....here's the link

if there's any thing else we can do to help you in this Navy Adventure....just give us a shout.
Good Morning my Girlies!!!
Happy Birthday Mr. Hank!!!! enjoy your "scavenger hunt".
Sissy and i are off to Grandmaw's. Sailor Son has had a couple of days off but reports back to duty on Wed. He is going back to "medical" to get that rotator cuff checked. i'm getting mine looked at today also.
Happy Birthday Hank!
Connie - you're going from 91 to snow and I thought MO weather was crazy! So glad your getting the moisture. Got my fingers crossed the fire areas will get dumped on.
Have a nice day ladies!
Hey MNM- How come you are on so early today? I actually slept in a bit today and then got on fb and got lost for a while!
Today is Hank's Birthday! (Doing the Birthday dance) Got lots of fun surprises planned for him they are hidden all over the house and in his shop! Fixed his favorite Chicken fried steak on Sunday and also had his favoriite dessert...individual Molten Chocolate Cake! I am still stuffed! The only thing that will be missing is B, Jessi and Abi! We are going to be able to see the girls the Sunday after Easter for our celebration with them since her family has a huge get together then. "Nana Easter Bunny" has had a blast putting together a big basket of goodies for Abi!
It is rain mixed with snow here this morning after hitting 91 on Sunday, but we could get up to 4" of snow!! HooYah! The areas where the fires were could get between 10" to 26"! Come on Mama Nature lets have it... the the moisture I mean. lol
Have a great day everybody!
Monday Already? Where did the weekend go? lol
la/wa- It is wonderful that there are so many good, caring and kind people out there! Your story warms my heart!
3ds and MNM- I bet you will be constantly hugging and squeezing your Sailors a lot in the next few days! I am so thrilled for you both!
joshmom- Sounds like you had a wonderful lunch with the other Navy Moms!
You will all be glad to know the big fire is 97% contained! They are letting some people back into their homes again.
I was in a Mega pool at work, but we did not win. Gee, back to work in the morning. I guess it is a good thing that we did not win. There would be no teachers at school to teach the kids on tomorrow had we won. Just kidding...hopefully, we would at least wait until June before running out the door...smile.
My sailor and his wife were looking on Craigslist to buy a few things for their apartment. They are starting from scratch. When I say scratch, I mean scratch. They have hardly anything. Right now they are sleeping on a foam mattress pad on the floor. Anyway, they found a listing for a few kitchen items to buy. When they got to the house to buy the items, they were just left outside of the door, and given to them free of charge. THANK GOD FOR CARING PEOPLE. They have a few dollars to buy something else because of these wonderful folks. They could have just as easily give them to charity for a write-off. That sure gives me an idea. I will go through things that I no longer use, and give them to to a couple just starting off their married life together. It would cost too much to ship them to my kids.
Enjoy the rest of your week end.
Good Sunday morning! Hope that everyone's weekend is going well!
kk- So far they have 3 winners... the news said 1 in Maryland,1 in Illinois, and 1 from Kansas! I hope it is some one I know!
