Good morning ladies!  Time to check in and let us know how you & your sailors are doing.  Mine is back out at sea and excited about being in "new" waters...change of scenery! LOL (wink wink on that pic you posted a couple weeks ago BeachBunny - 71% water LOL) but it sure is nice to know his future port visits will be in a different part of the world!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Welcome Jayne and congrats to your daughter on her graduation from bootcamp!  Hope she enjoys P'cola.  The first two classes your daughter will take are ATT & AWAT. If my memory serves me right (help me out ladies if I'm wrong here) but I think ATT is around 4 weeks long and the AWAT class takes about a week.  After those two classes she will break off into her "O" strand class.  Hope that helps....keep asking questions we'll try to answer as best we can.

Ok ladies I have a little funny to share.  Sailor calls last night and says he's ready to head back out to sea and anxious to get to Virginia.  He proceeds to tell me he's homeless LOL! He was laughing about it but he's kinda right.  The sailors who transferred to the RR are headed back "home" to Japan and a lot of the sailors who have transferred onto his ship are only going to be there for the cruise to Virginia and then they will fly back "home" to Cali.  "Mom I don't have a home right now!"  We both had a good laugh.  The life of a sailor!

My daughter had her PIR on 8/21 and is now in Pensacola going through Indoctrination. She is going to be an ATO. What are the next things she will go through for training?
