I just got the call that my son won't be graduating on time because he did not pass his running test although that may change if he calls me this weekend - so fingers crossed that I see my boy soon - if you all would please say a prayer for him and me;( I would appreciate it

Im kind of on pins an needles here. I recieved a call Friday that she failed the run but would have 2 more tries before battlestations. She is supposed to graduate 6/2. I was wondering if i will only get a call if she passes or will i get another call saying she failed?

ThankfulwithGod, calls are totally up to FIT personnel and when the phone banks are available. Some are able to call after passing the PFA and some have not called until after Battle Stations-21 (BST). Some who have passed the PFA and are on the waiting list for the BST have called on Sunday afternoon. Some recruits who have been in FIT at least two weeks without passing have been able to call on Sunday afternoon at times.

Hope that helps I'll be praying for your son too and all the kids who are trying to pass there test, is so hard to keep positive if you don't hear from them but let's have faith Christina, I'm learning to keep positive hope you get your call soon, I'm hoping and praying the tomorrow I get mine.

Yes they have to do everything again that's what I read so I'm not sure this is what I got this morning from the page on Facebook If she told you to still not to come, unfortunately, that means she still has yet to pass her PFA (Physical Fitness Assessment). If she retakes the test tomorrow and passes, she would still be able to graduate on time but if she fails, that is her last chance to do so in order to graduate.

If she doesn't graduate on time, she remains here and has about 10 or so more opportunities to pass the test. If she simply cannot pass it, yes, she would be separated from the Navy and sent home for not being able to meet the Navy's physical fitness standards.

She is in the FIT (Fitness Improvement Training) where instructors work solely with these recruits to help them be able to pass. The Navy does want to see them succeed and most recruits to eventually pass their test.
