Thought it might be nice for everybody to say where they are staying for PIR as a means of knowing who will be in the same place, taking the shuttles, carpooling, etc. and maybe even getting together…Continue

ACTmom- I'd LOVE to know if it's our division or not....anyone know? If anyone knows, please send me a message...
Well, if it's my sons division, I hope that he gets the letter that I wrote to him the other day asap. I train new people and transfers on a job that I do on the weekends. It is ALL about teamwork in this area that we work in. If you don't have it, it reflects on everyone else in the area. Good moral is very important too. I pray to myself most of the time that I work(mainly to keep myself a team player! LOL!), and I just felt a nudging to write to him on this topic this week. So, in my letter to him this past week, I told him all about my job, how I train, and the negative and positive effects of teamwork. I hope that he gets it and learns something from it. I expressed that, at this point, no one wants to fail there, so pull it together. If someone is lacking, then he should step up and do whatever he can to maybe help pull that person through. If it's him, evaluate what the problem is, learn how to fix and and fix it! I put a lot of emphasis on battle stations coming up. I know they can do it. They will just have to take that "me" out of the problem to come up with better and faster solutions! Even it it's not his division, I know the information will help him with everything he has coming up. I'm praying for all of them. I know that God can give them all the strength and endurance to do what they need to do!
I have decided since I can't buy or send anything to my son for Christmas, I will adopt a Soldier. My best friend, who is a Blue Star Mother, whos son deploys in February, gave me the name of a young lady who is a Military Police in Afganistan. They need the simple, everyday stuff!! She may not get it in time for Christmas but she will certainly get a surprise afterwards. My son will get everything he needs when he settles into his new place after gradution. So instead of worrying about him not getting anything right now, I will pay it forward and send it to someone who could surely use it and needs it.
